Ponca Tribe of Nebraska: Fred Leroy Health & Wellness Center - Omaha Office

The mission of the Fred Leroy Health and Wellness Centre is to provide holistic, caring family centered and culturally sensitive services through a quality clinical and educational approach to health care. The behavioural health department provides the following services: mental health and substance abuse evaluations/assessments, individual counselling services, referrals for residential treatment, psychological evaluations, and adult talking circle. The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska and the behavioural health department recognizes the importance of incorporating the traditional methods of healing into the lives of Native Americans. Clients are encouraged to participate in weekly sweat lodge ceremonies that are held at the Fred Leroy Health and Wellness Centre on Friday evenings.
