Douglas County Community Mental Health Center

Provides comprehensive mental health care for the underserved of Douglas County. Mental health services available include: inpatient and outpatient counselling, voluntary and involuntary inpatient drug and alcohol detoxification, psychological testing, day treatment, medication checks, additional resources and referrals to additional services. There are two support groups being held that are open to the public. The NAMI Connections group meets on Wednesdays from 3 pm to 4:30 pm on the Fifth floor in room C-532 and is for people that have been diagnosed with a mental illness and are seeking support from others going through a similar situation. The family support group meets on Thursdays from 6 pm to 7 pm on the fifth floor in room C-532 and is for families that have a loved one with a mental illness and they are seeking to understand and support them.
