County Veterans' Service Officer: Sarpy County information provided by: Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services

Works to assists all qualified county Veterans and their families in any way in obtaining the maximum Veterans Benefits they may be entitled to receive under Federal and State Laws and Regulations. Work closely with Veterans’ Groups and Organizations; to advise and explain various forms and applications; and to bring awareness to the community of what the county service office represents and what may be done on behalf of the veteran.


The County Veterans’ Service Office was created by state statute to assist veterans and their dependents in times of need, or to file for all County, State or Federal benefits earned by virtue of the military veteran’s service to a grateful Nation and the State of Nebraska.

Hours:
8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays
